Why this role exists
We publish one of tech’s most-read newsletters and a weekly livestream—but we’re under-represented on TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn short-form. Your job is to translate our long-form thinking into snackable video, image, text and carousel content that pulls new people into our universe.
What you’ll do
- Make our content work harder – spot the gold in our videos, long-form pieces and audio, and rework it into sharp, platform-native posts that get people to stop scrolling.
- Own end-to-end content production – storyboard, record, edit (captions, motion graphics, overlays, images, text) and post 4-5 short-form pieces a week across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn.
- Scale with AI & automation – use tools such as Descript, Runway, ChatGPT, Zapier/Make to multiply output and become a 10X marketer.
- Rapid iteration – track engagement weekly, double-down on what moves subscribers; surface learnings to the team.
- Stretch – once organic traction is humming, help test small paid-social boosts.
You’ll thrive here if you…
- Are a native short-form storyteller—comfortable on-camera and in the editor.
- Already run or have grown channels on TikTok or Instagram (show us!).
- Love experimenting with AI creative tools and simple automations.
- Can carve 20 focused hours each week and overlap with UK time.
Structure & compensation
- Contract: 90-day sprint, with option to extend.
- Time: 20h per week (set your own schedule).
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate.
